Goods were picked up in South Carolina, loaded in containers, delivered to port of Savannah (GA), placed on a vessel bound for Belgium; then received in Antwerp, reloaded on a truck in a warehouse near the port, sent by road to Germany. With the right partners in USA, wisely chosen subcontractors all the way through, this (regular) shipment was performed brilliantly – within timeframes and budgets as planned.
